Math counts

Math Counts is a fun, challenging middle school program aimed at engaging students in math club meetings and competitions. Students are encouraged to think outside the box, and are able to share and showcase their math ability, all the while having fun with their fellow students. This club is open to students in grades 5-8. The County competition takes place in February at the Penn State Berks County Campus. Ten students will be able to compete for Twin Valley Middle School. Students in grades 6-8 are eligible to compete.
Math Counts meets every Monday afternoon from 3:00 to 4:30 and Thursday during 7/8 Lunch (11:15-11:45).  The meetings take place in Mrs. Reid's Room (313). Math Counts permission slips are available from Mrs. Reid's Room 313,. They can be returned to either Mrs. Reid or the student’s math teacher.
